Summer coolers

Some summer cooler recipes:

Pudina Lassidahi
(2 glasses)
2 tbsp mint leaves, finely chopped
1 cup curd
1 cup of water
1 tsp rock salt (kala namak)
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp salt, or to taste
Chat masala, to sprinkle on top
Mint sprigs for garnish
Roast cumin (jeera) seeds on a pan and grind them. Add curd, mint leaves, cumin powder and both salts and blend in a mixer. Add water. Blend till frothy. Add ice in a glass, pour the lassi on the ice cubes. Serve garnished with cumin powder, chat masala, and a sprig of mint. Remember, pudina has very high iron content so this drink is good for anaemic people…

Lichi Daiquiri (1 glass)???????????????????????????????

45ml white rum
25ml lime cordial
14ml triple sec
1 tsp superfine sugar or sugar syrup or golden syrup
1 cup ice
5 lichies

Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a cherry. You use bananas instead of lichis. Making a non-alcoholic Daiquiri is very simple — just don’t use the alcohol. You can adjust the quantities of lime cordial and sugar syrup according to your taste.
